Seller Terms
These terms apply to anyone who opens a shop on KaziDocs Kenya Shops.
Your shop
- You must be 18+, own the products you list or be authorised to sell them, and give true information.
- You are the seller. You are responsible for stock, quality, delivery, refunds, receipts and taxes (including KRA registration and eTIMS where required).
- Prohibited items: illegal goods, counterfeit or stolen items, weapons, drugs, adult content, prescription medicines, and anything that breaks Kenyan law.
Payments
By default buyers pay you directly to your own Till, Paybill or phone and enter the M-Pesa code; you confirm only after the money reaches you. We do not hold seller funds in this mode. If platform collection is enabled by us, a fee of 3% (Free) or 1% (Pro) applies on the item subtotal, and payouts are processed manually after admin approval.
Fees and plans
The Free plan allows 10 active products. Pro is billed per 30 days via M-Pesa and is not refundable once used.
Data
You will receive buyers’ names, phone numbers and addresses to fulfil orders. You are a data controller for that data under the Data Protection Act, 2019: use it only for the order, keep it secure and delete it when no longer needed.
Enforcement
We may hide shops, suspend accounts or withhold payouts for fraud, abuse or complaints, and report crime to the authorities.
